DEIF’s highly customisable Analogue Indicator range are available with a range of standard pre-MED approved scales. Likewise, DEIF’s ground-breaking Digital Display Indicators also offer an equivalent range of standard libraries which contain multiple Virtual Indicators.

A customised scale design or library design service is also available, to enable you to build a solution for all kinds of vessel.
DEIF’s Bridge instruments are often referred to by different names depending on the type of customer, company or individual naming preference or even application.

Examples include:

Analogue indicators such as or XL, BW and BRW-2 series often referred to a bridge meters, panel meters, display instruments and even moving coil meters or stepper motor meters. Likewise our XDi series Digital Display Indicators are sometimes named after generic applications such as Propulsion Indicator, Wind Indicator or Navigation Repeater or specific ISO/ MED approval names such as Rate of Turn(ROT), Revolution (RPM), Pitch or Rudder Angle Indicators(RAI).
Panorama Rudder Angle Indicators such as TRI-2 are also often called Three Face Rudder Angle Indicators.
Sensors such as the WSS 550 and WSS 750 Wind Sensors are commonly referred to as anemometers or ultrasonic (wind) sensors, likewise DEIF’s RTA and RTC Rudder Angle Transmitters might just be called Rudder Transmitters or Transducers, Rudder Position Transducers or even Rudder Feedback Units.
